Devlog #3


Hallo!

It's been a while since we last updated a devlog here, hope you all are doing well!

Finding Cinderella has been going full speed on production this past year and we are almost at the end! We hope to do a full release verrrrrrrrrrrrry soon, so please be on the lookout on our twitter, itch page and steam.

OH, speaking of which, have you wishlisted on steam yet? The game will be released on itch and steam both, but the steam release will support steam achievements, so if that's something you are interested in, please go take a look>< 

((the achievements are very silly we look forward to see if anyone actually gets them lol heres some exclusive preview can u guess how u can unlock them???))

We're almost 90% done, the stuff that's left include:

  • Finetuning the comic bubble animations
  • Editing some lady sprite changes
  • Finetuning the daily interactive parts (the game turned out to be verrrry interactive lol we added SO many things)
  • BUG TESTING OMG
  • Marketing pls help we have no idea how to

Some cool features you can look forward to in game that we personally are really proud of include:

  • Multiple playthroughs (the assassin changes every round wow)
  • In-game achievements
  • Player stats (like you can see what percentage of people chose which lady wowowoowow so cool so epic all hail the programmer
  • Discord presence so your friends can see you are getting rejected by fictional women
  • MORE STUPID PRINCE DIALOGUE he's so dumb we crei
  • 27 CGs, animated sprites, 9 minigames, 9 daily interactive mechanisms, clickable bgs, CUTE LADIES!!!!

And here's the new logo for the game.

The game is going to be completely free to play, and will support windows, mac and linux. It's a pretty big project and we've been working on it for like a couple years now lol, so we'd be really reallllly reallllllllllllllllllllllly grateful if you'd play it when it's out, idk leave reviews and help spread the word? It's both the devs first game, so there's bound to be some mistakes, but we hope you'll be with us regardless!

The features sound so cool!! Although I do have a small question, I don't think there was a save function in the demo so will there be one in the full release? If not, that's all good!! I'm very happy for you guys anyway :D

Oooh we totally forgot to mention! Yes. There's going to an automatic save function after very day and you can load the game to play from that specific day! There's not gonna be like save whenever we want kind of feature for gameplay reasons, but i think the current save mechanic will make it a little more helpful! Thank you so much for supporting us ><
